The North Miami Campus, established in 1992, is located in the heart of South Florida, between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. With South Beach to the south and the Ft. Lauderdale strip to the north, it's easy to find something to do anytime.

Majestic palms line the North Miami Campus where 1,955 students are enrolled in the College of Business, the College of Culinary Arts, and The Hospitality College. Yet, it's still small enough that faculty and administrators remember your name.

campus news The North Miami Campus Update is a weekly publication provided to students to assist in finding events, getting involved, and conducting business on campus. The Wildcat Chronicles student newspaper is published six times a year by a student staff.

2008-09 student handbook The Johnson & Wales University Student Handbook (1.22 MB PDF) is your guide to the services available to you and also your resources for the University policies. As a JWU student, you have agreed to conform to the rules and regulations as outlined annually in this publication, the University Catalog, any other handbooks, and the Resident Student Contract, including any amendments. These rules apply to all students and must be followed both within and outside the University facilities and common areas.
